Re: wla bobber
oh heck it runs in the family!
yes 'awesome' seems an apt description for that machine sp1.
what year & model is that? once i get back before shovels & stuff Im not a great expert. I gather that the rear fender is custom? & that your rear fender is custom too?
can you tell us some more about yours & your bro-in-laws?

wla's
Hi Both our bikes are 1942 wla 750cc 45ci except I have Triumph front wheel (this was a mission to fit! new axle, spacers and shifting the brake shackle frm left to right). Roger's bike has been ridden all around England and Europe. At the moment it is here in NZ but will be shipped back to the UK in a couple of months as he's moved back there again. The guards are original but chopped down and run with no front guard. Bikes are std apart from stripping off everything you don't need. Both bikes are running magnetos so wiring is simple. My bike just needs a couple of parts from the US which I have been waiting eight bloody weeks for! @#%. Once these arrive its all go I hope. I have changed the cast iron heads for high compression Ali heads, Roger has given me the bobber seat of his one (his arse is to big). So just waiting really. My other bro- inlaw has Indians but not bobber style. So yes we are all into our bikes, great escape from the family wives
